The one and only @chefrickymoore will be cooking at Peregrine August 16th!
The Peregrine team is stoked to bring back their wood-fired outdoor pop-up series with the second installment of The Ember Series, welcoming JBF Best Chef Southeast Winner Ricky Moore of Durham’s Saltbox Seafood Joint for a one-night-only collab with Peregrine’s very own @chefsaifrahman.
Set in the Peregrine garden, the evening will bring together two of North Carolina’s most noteworthy culinary voices for a shared celebration of culture, North Carolina foodways & live-fire cooking.
The dinner marks a preview of dishes from Moore’s forthcoming Saltbox Seafood Joint Cookbook (UNC Press), a second edition of his beloved 2019 title publishing September 29, 2026. Guests will be among the first to taste new recipes from the book — cooked live over wood fire — before it hits shelves. The new edition will also be available for pre-order exclusively at the event, ahead of its September release.
