Big Trucks Raise Big Bucks at 11th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event

The Junior League of Raleigh’s beloved Touch-A-Truck event has a new home, and the first year at The Exchange was a tremendous success! Featuring fire trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, military vehicles, and even a live helicopter landing (thank you Iron Horse Contractors!), this community event draws families from all over the Triangle. The 11th annual presentation at The Exchange was a record-breaking year, with over 3000 people in attendance and over $68,000 raised to support community impact programs throughout Wake County.

Kids didn’t just get to touch the trucks – they could climb in them, honk the horns, and meet their community heroes.

In addition to exploring the trucks, kids could enjoy bounce houses, a DJ, lawn games, and treats from food trucks and on site restaurants.

Touch-A-Truck® is more than a family event.

Proceeds support the Junior League of Raleigh’s mission to develop women leaders and improve the community through volunteer action, collaboration and training.

By attending Touch-A-Truck®, families help support programs, partnerships and initiatives that strengthen Wake County throughout the year.
