RALEIGH, NC – Dewitt Carolinas, Inc., in partnership with the Midtown Raleigh Alliance, is thrilled to announce the launch of Midweek Mix – Wednesdays at The Exchange Raleigh, a dynamic new outdoor concert series set to become Midtown Raleigh’s premier summer tradition. Starting Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the community is invited to gather at The Park at The Exchange—the lush, central green space at the heart of the transformative 40-acre mixed-use development—for evenings filled with incredible live music, fresh local food, and community connection.
The event and park bars will open weekly at 5:30 p.m., with live showtimes running from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Midweek Mix is completely free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the performances comfortably. To elevate the evening, a diverse array of food and beverage options will be available at 1000 Social’s premier culinary collection. Visitors can grab dinner and drinks from Peregrine, the acclaimed modern American destination from Chef Saif Rahman; Toastique, the fresh, gourmet toast and juice bar; the unapologetically chic new bar concept Capulet Cocktail Club; or the high-energy Tex-Mex favorite Mezcalito. Guests can also look forward to the highly anticipated Pranzo by Bongiorno & Son, which is set to open its doors this July. Raleigh’s own Crank Arm Brewing will also be on-site weekly in the park, serving up a curated selection of local craft beer, wine, and cider. (Please note: no outside food or beverages are permitted.)
“Midweek Mix is planned perfectly to give all of us the exact boost we need to carry us through the rest of the week,” said Angela Fisher, the newly appointed Events Director at Dewitt Carolinas, Inc. “Our vision for this gorgeous new park is to create a true community hub, and we wanted a summer music series that feels like an automatic celebration. We’ve hand-picked a dynamic mix of high-energy local, regional, and national chart-topping, award-winning, festival-hopping wonders for what promise to be once-in-a-lifetime performances right here under the trees. We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the Midtown Raleigh Alliance to encourage everyone to connect with co-workers, catch up with friends, and bring out their families. Come early for a pre-show dinner, relax with a cold beverage in the shade on the lawn, or find a local after-party as the music winds down. We hope everyone will make Wednesdays their go-to night, and we can’t wait to see you!”
Kickoff Performance: Big Daddy Love (Wednesday, June 24)
Proudly based out of Winston-Salem, N.C., Big Daddy Love (BDL) will take the stage as the series’ official headline kickoff act. Far from a gentle string quartet, this acclaimed group defies a single genre, blending rock, bluegrass, southern soul, and psychedelic jams into a unique sound they call “Appalachian Rock.”
With over 16 years on the road and well over a thousand shows played nationwide, BDL has an incredible performance resume that spans from intimate coffeehouses to Raleigh’s own 20,000-seat PNC Arena. They are celebrated fixtures on the major southeastern festival circuit, having graced stages at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, The Big What, and FloydFest, where they were named the premier festival’s “On the Rise” / “Under the Radar” award winners, recognizing emerging artists. Boasting a decorated history that includes being a three-time featured band on Nashville’s Music City Roots and earning “Best Album of the Year” honors from the Homegrown Music Network, the quartet is currently working on new music. Fans can connect with the band on Instagram, Facebook, and Spotify.

Covering artists like Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Linkin Park, they bring a massive, crowd-engaging live presence that has lit up prominent events like the BOOM Charlotte Festival, Strange Fruit Music Festival, and the Wilson Jazz Festival. Promising a performance where “no booty is left unshaken,” the band has captured a passionate regional following through studio EPs and high-octane live shows. Follow their journey on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Spotify.
- Wednesday, July 8 – Brian James & The Revival: Currently touring out of Eugene, Ore., after firmly establishing his career in Nashville, Tenn., frontman Brian James brings a remarkable background to the stage, having served five years in the U.S. Marines before pursuing music full time. As the winner of the prestigious Nashville Blues Challenge and a Nashville Industry Music Award (NIMA) nominee for Best Performer, James leads his band through a fiery, attention-demanding blend of blues, soul, and Southern rock heavily inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and the Allman Brothers. Fans can check out their acclaimed full-length album, “The Remedy,” and follow them across Facebook, Spotify, and Bandsintown.
- Wednesday, July 15 – Allen Hudson & The Half Moons: Traveling in from Virginia as a prominent staple of the Mid-Atlantic music scene, this group delivers an alternative rock sound packed with “southern charm.” Frequently described as a dynamic mix of The Killers and The Black Crowes, they feature soaring vocals and a rich catalog of hit singles like “Our Song,” “Morning Stars,” and “Car.” Having opened for iconic national acts like the Spin Doctors, Cracker, and Eric Hutchinson, they have also performed a live cover of “I’m Your Captain / Closer to Home” at the legendary NorVa theater in Norfolk and made frequent television appearances on programs like WTKR’s Coast Live. Connect with them via Facebook and Spotify.
- Wednesday, July 22 – Anthony Rosano & The Conqueroos: Traveling in from Virginia, this powerhouse blues-rock band is led by vocalist and guitarist Anthony Rosano. Blending traditional blues with rock, funk, soul, and jam-band elements, they have earned widespread national recognition, with their self-titled album peaking at #9 on the Billboard Blues Chart and at one point even charting ahead of The Rolling Stones on the iTunes Blues Chart. As a two-time International Blues Challenge finalist and multiple VEER Music Award recipient, the band has built a reputation for high-energy live performances and exceptional musicianship. They are an immense draw for classic rock and guitar-focused music fans, having shared legendary stages with big artists including ZZ Top, Bob Seger, Gov’t Mule, Samantha Fish, Marcus King Band, Robert Randolph, Styx, Tab Benoit, Train, and Gin Blossoms. Fans can connect with them on Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, and YouTube.
- Wednesday, July 29 – Sons of Paradise: Closing out the summer series are Raleigh’s own hometown heroes. Founded by high school friends Matt McClanahan and Jordan Gee, this heavy-hitting reggae-rock group has blossomed into a major nationally touring act that has surpassed 100,000 monthly Spotify listeners. Performing on the main stage at Virginia Beach’s Point Break Music Festival this June, the six-piece band blends reggae, rock, melodic keyboards, roots rhythms, and saxophone for an unforgettable modern alternative sound. They have previously supported industry giants like The Elovaters, Tropidelic, Bumpin Uglies, and Inner Circle. Keep up with the local favorites on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, and YouTube.
